Brighter Day Baptist Church Devotional, Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026, Election Day. When the world feels uncertain, God's still in control. Psalm 46 verse 10 says, "Be still, and know that I am God." People are making decisions and feelings are running high, but our calling remains the same: pray, love and trust Jesus. Just like Daniel, keep praying. Keep showing kindness, even when everyone disagrees. Life Application: Vote thoughtfully, but guard your heart from anger. Now, take time to pray for America. Pray for leaders, and show the love of Christ in your words, posts, and attitudes. Prayer: Heavenly Father, we bring our nation before You. Give wisdom to our leaders, peace to our communities, and compassion to our hearts. Keep us faithful, loving, and hopeful no matter what happens, in Jesus' name, Amen. Your encouragement for today: Don't put your faith in who wins an election. Put your faith in the One who holds tomorrow. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God bless America, and may God help us keep our eyes on Jesus. Brighter Day Baptist Church, sharing God's word, spreading His love, and bringing hope to a world that needs Jesus. And just to say it—regardless of what happens today, the church must stay light in the darkness. Our mission is still the Gospel, still love, and still pointing souls to Jesus Christ.
